What is Preparation and Job Matching program?
Rusta och matcha (ROM2) is a program from the Swedish Public Employment Service for job seekers who need extra support in their job search. The program replaces the previous service, ‘Stöd och matchning,’ and aims to quickly match the right person with the right opportunity.
How ROM2 works through the Public Employment Service
You participate through an approved provider, and you have the right to choose which one. AKG Sweden is one of the Swedish Public Employment Service’s approved providers of the Rusta och matcha program. We have extensive experience supporting individuals on their path to employment or education.
The ROM2 program offers individually tailored support based on your needs and circumstances. Your goal may be employment, education, or building new connections that strengthen your opportunities.
Who can participate in the program?
To participate, you need:
Be registered as a job seeker with the Employment Service
Have received approval for Rusta and matcha
Choose AKG Sweden as a supplier
The program lasts for up to six months and can be extended by an additional six. During this entire period, you may be entitled to support through the Social Insurance Agency. You can participate even if you do not have primary or secondary education, and you can combine it with Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) studies.
