Responsive pay slips that work for more

By March 13, 2026March 17th, 2026No Comments2 min read

AKG has started sending responsive pay slips via Kivra with the help of Siphra. The purpose is to make salary information clearer and more accessible for all employees – including people with visual impairments.

Accessibility is an important issue for us. AKG is a provider of Vocational Introduction for people with visual impairments (YIS), a program through the Swedish Public Employment Service for individuals who need extra support to move forward towards work or studies. Through YIS, we meet many participants with visual impairments each year and have built up extensive experience in working with accessibility in practice. In our team, there are also employees with personal experience of visual impairment, which gives us a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges that may exist.

The responsive pay slips are therefore designed to be easy to access. The information is divided into clear sections where the employee can choose what they want to explore, for example vacation, tax, or payment. Instead of traditional PDF documents, the content is structured so that it works better with screen readers and is easier to navigate.

After the implementation, AKG has noticed that the number of questions about pay slips has decreased, while more employees actually go in and access the information.
